Strength 1/4 is a subtle level, suitable as a “permanent” look for the whole project. The black particles keep shadows darker than with white Pro-Mist.

The threaded version screws directly onto the lens – ideal for gimbals, handheld rigs and documentary shooting without a matte box. For a smaller lens diameter use a step-down ring. The effect is most visible on practicals and backlight.

Ideal for

feature films and series

portraits and beauty

music clips

advertising

softening of digital image

Why TIFFEN Black Pro-Mist 1/4 82 mm

Softer lights – Reduces highlight brightness and creates a soft quality of light.

Skin softening – Softens wrinkles and minor skin imperfections.

ColorCore construction – The substrate is laminated between two optical glass pieces.

Wide range of degrees – Available in many densities for precise control of the effect.

Key specs

Type

Diffusion (Black Pro-Mist)

Size

82 mm (thread)

Strength / density

1/4

Material

optical glass (ColorCore laminate)

Thickness

2.5 mm (glass), 8 mm sleeve

Effect and construction

Effect

reducing highlight brightness and contrast, soft light quality

Construction

ColorCore – substrate laminated between two optical glasses

Socket

aluminium (black anodised)

Mount

screw-in, 82 mm thread

Available strengths

1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 3

Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1/4 (82 mm) – najpoužívanejší difúzny filter vo filme; znižuje jas svetiel a kontrast a zjemňuje pleť.

TypeBlack Pro-Mist

Size82 mm

Sila1/4

Hrúbka skla2,5 mm

[538,542

post-48978","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-filtre-matteboxy","product_cat-efektove-filtre","first","instock","purchasable","product-type-simple
["GET
