Strength 1/2 is a medium level with a clearly visible yet still natural effect. Unlike classic soft filters, it retains most of the detail.

The filter slots into a 4 × 5.65″ matte box and is compatible with standard cine filter holders. Compared with Black Pro-Mist, it lifts shadows and gives a lighter, pastel character – suited to romantic, nostalgic and dreamy scenes. We recommend a test with the specific lens and light before shooting.

Ideal for

romantic and dreamy scenes

portraits and beauty

music clips

nostalgic look

advertising

Why TIFFEN Pro-Mist 1/2 4 × 5.65″

Pearl glow – Creates a soft, pastel glow around lights, typical of Pro-Mist.

Lower contrast – Reduces highlight brightness and overall image contrast.

Retained detail – According to the manufacturer, it causes only a small loss of detail across the whole image.

ColorCore construction – The substrate is laminated between two optical glass pieces.

Key specs

Type

Diffusion (Pro-Mist)

Size

4 × 5,65″

Strength / density

1/2

Material

optical glass (ColorCore laminate)

Effect and construction

Effect

softening sharpness and contrast, pearl glow around lights

Construction

ColorCore – substrate laminated between two optical glasses

Mount

for matte box / holder 4 × 5.65″

Available strengths

1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2

Tiffen Pro-Mist 1/2 (4 × 5,65") – klasický „biely“ difúzny filter, ktorý zjemní ostrosť a kontrast a vytvorí perleťovú žiaru okolo svetiel.

TypeDifúzny Pro-Mist

Size4 × 5,65"

Sila1/2

Effectperleťová žiara

[538,542

post-49024","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-filtre-matteboxy","product_cat-efektove-filtre","first","instock","purchasable","product-type-simple
["GET
