Quarter Grid Silent 1/4 12 × 12′ (3.6 × 3.6 m) is designed for an overhead frame over the entire scene. Quarter Grid Silent is the lightest version of grid cloth – ripstop fabric with a treatment that dampens rustling in wind.

Suits sound recording outdoors, where ordinary diffusion rustles in the wind; the light is only slightly softened. A large surface requires stable stands, weights and caution in wind.
