Lite Grid Silent 1/2 8 × 8′ (2.4 × 2.4 m) is designed for a butterfly frame on stands. Grid cloth 1/2 in the silent version is a medium-strength diffusion of ripstop fabric that dampens rustling in wind.

A compromise between fine 1/4 and full grid cloth; suitable in front of lights and over the scene when shooting with sound. The size is sufficient for medium shots and full shots of one or two people.
