The Blackmagic UltraStudio Recorder 3G captures SDI or HDMI signals up to 1080p60 and 2K DCI via Thunderbolt 3. The SDI input carries up to 16 channels of embedded audio, HDMI 8 channels.
On set and in post, it records the signal from a camera or edit directly to a computer, for example for DaVinci Resolve, Media Express or streaming software. Requires a computer with a Thunderbolt 3 port – USB-C without Thunderbolt is not sufficient.
