Schneider Clear (Optical Flat) in 4 × 5.65″ format is a clear protective filter, 4 mm thick, with multi-layer coating. It does not reduce light (filter factor 1) and does not change color rendering.
Fits into a matte box as front lens protection against dust, rain or SFX. Multicoating reduces flare when shooting into light. Also works as a replacement for another filter while keeping the same optical path.
