The ARRI FSND 1.5 is an external neutral density filter with 5 stops of attenuation, using the technology of internal FSND filters in ALEXA Mini and AMIRA cameras. The Schott B270i glass is double-side coated, reducing surface reflectance to 0.2%.
Flat spectral response in the visible and infrared bands ensures neutral colors even when stacking multiple filters and when shooting HDR. Black contoured edges reduce light scatter and the risk of chipping when inserted into a matte box.
