Quarter Grid Silent 1/4 8 × 8′ (2.4 × 2.4 m) is designed for a butterfly frame on stands. Quarter Grid Silent is the lightest version of grid cloth – ripstop fabric with a treatment that dampens rustling in wind.

Suits sound recording outdoors, where ordinary diffusion rustles in the wind; the light is only slightly softened. The size is sufficient for half and full shots of one to two people.
