Canon 18 mm T1.5 is a photographic lens from the Canon K35 18 mm series, converted by British company True Lens Services into a full cine lens with PL mount. Minimum focus distance is 30 cm (12″), front diameter 110 mm. This is the fast wide-angle version of the K35.
The rehousing brings cine gearing for focus and iris, a circular iris with 14–16 blades and a uniform front diameter, so swapping lenses within the set requires no rebuild of the follow focus or matte box. The Canon FD/K35 rendering is softer, with warmer color and distinctive flare character.
