URTH FD to EF lets Canon FD lenses be mounted on Canon EF bodies. Since the FD flange distance (42 mm) is shorter than EF (44 mm), focusing at infinity is only possible with a correcting optical element.
If the adapter has no correction optics, it serves only for close focusing. We recommend checking focus at infinity and sharpness at full aperture before shooting; for the full focus range, a FD lens on a mirrorless camera is more suitable.
