URTH Leica R to EF is a mechanical mount adapter for Leica R lenses on Canon EF bodies. The Leica R flange distance (47 mm) is longer than EF (44 mm), so focus at infinity is retained without optics.
The adapter is mechanical – focus and aperture are controlled directly on the lens. Before shooting, check focus at infinity and play in the bayonet; for heavier lenses use a lens support.
