RØDE NTG3 is a condenser shotgun microphone with supercardioid pattern and 40 Hz – 20 kHz range. RF-bias wiring makes it moisture-resistant; self-noise 13 dBA, max. SPL 130 dB, weight 163 g.

The microphone is used on a boom pole to capture dialog indoors and outdoors. It requires 48 V phantom power from the recorder, mixer or camera; in wind, put it in a basket with a windscreen.
