SmallRig 1855 is a two-part S-Lock quick-release system made of male and female aluminum alloy plates. The plates snap together with a spring latch; dimensions 35 × 17 × 44 mm, weight 43 g.

The male part screws under the monitor, the female part onto a magic arm or handle; the monitor can then be mounted and removed without unscrewing. The 1/4″ and 3/8″ threads fit magic arms with both screw types.
