SmallRig NATO Top Handle 1688 (NATO Rail Cheese Handle) is a top handle that attaches quickly to the cage’s NATO rail. It has a hole for a 15 mm rod, 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads with holes for ARRI pins, and shoe mounts at both ends.
The NATO rail slides forward and backward to balance the rig when carried. An LED light, microphone or monitor can be mounted on shoe mounts and threads; the 15 mm port serves, for example, a short rod with accessories.
