The Fotga DP500 Mark III is a metal mechanical follow focus for 15 mm rods, with removable A/B stops and two-stage damping. Gear backlash is under 0.5 mm; the kit includes M0.8 gears with 38, 43 and 65 teeth and a gear belt for lenses 46–110 mm in diameter.
A/B stops let you repeatedly hit two focus points when there is no time to mark the disc. The gear can be mounted on either side, so the follow focus works from the left or right side of the camera. The gear belt also makes it possible to use still photo lenses without gearing.
