RØDE Procaster is a dynamic broadcast microphone with cardioid pattern, 75 Hz – 18 kHz range and XLR output. It picks up sound from the front, requires no phantom power and weighs 745 g.
The dynamic transducer has low sensitivity (1.6 mV/Pa) and is not very sensitive to room echo, so it also suits untreated spaces. It needs a preamp with sufficient gain; on the PSA1 arm it mounts in the PSM1 suspension.
