The ARRI ALEXA 35 is the first camera built around the ALEV 4 sensor and is currently the reference tool for narrative films, series and high-end commercials. Compared with the previous ALEXA generation, it adds 2.5 stops of dynamic range, so detail in highlights and shadows stays clean even in extremely contrasty scenes, such as an interior with a window onto a sunlit exterior.
ARRI REVEAL color processing delivers more accurate color reproduction and natural skin tones that are easy to color-grade and combine without issues with footage from other ARRI cameras. ARRI Textures also lets you define the character of the image – grain and contrast – directly in the camera, similar to choosing a film negative.
