ALEXA Mini LF combines the full-frame ALEXA LF sensor with the compact, lightweight body of the ALEXA Mini. The result is a shallow depth of field, smooth falloff into out-of-focus areas and the characteristic ARRI color, in a body that fits a gimbal, Steadicam and tight interiors.
The camera records ARRIRAW and Apple ProRes to a Codex Compact Drive, has four internal motorized ND filters and a native LPL mount for full-frame lenses. It is a popular choice for narrative films, premium commercials and music videos where the visual should look “big” but production needs mobility.
