The ARRI UMC-4 is a three-axis motor controller that receives signals from WCU-4, Hi-5 or SXU-1 handheld controllers and drives up to three CLM motors for focus, iris and zoom. Up to three handheld controllers can be connected to it at once.
Suits cameras without integrated ARRI motor control – Sony, Panasonic, RED and others; run/stop is handled via the CAM cable. Two serial ports let you connect UDM-1 or Cine Tape rangefinders. The SD slot is for lens data and firmware updates.
