NiSi Nano graduated IRND filter series with soft-edge transition for 4 × 5.65″ matte boxes, available for rental in 0.3 / 0.6 / 0.9 strengths. Filters are made of H-K9L optical glass, 4 mm thick, with an IR layer and double-sided nano coating.
The soft-edge transition suits uneven horizons, buildings or camera movement, where a hard edge would be visible. The IR layer prevents a magenta cast in blacks with digital sensors.
