Tiffen graduated ND filter series with hard-edge transition for 4 × 5.65″ matte boxes. Available in 0.3 / 0.6 / 0.9 strengths, i.e. 1 / 2 / 3 stops of reduction in the dark part of the filter.
Suits shots with a level horizon where the sky is much brighter than the foreground. The filter slots into the sliding slot of a 4 × 5.65″ matte box, so the transition edge can be positioned exactly on the horizon.
