Sony FX30 brings the Sony Cinema Line image and workflow into a more affordable camera. The Super 35 sensor with 6K oversampling gives very sharp and clean 4K; S-Log3 and S-Cinetone profiles match the larger models, and dual native ISO 800 / 2500 helps in low light.
Controls, menu and accessories are identical to the FX3, so the FX30 is an ideal second camera for two-camera setups. The Super 35 format also allows the use of compact S35 lenses, and thanks to in-body stabilization and autofocus it is an excellent choice for gimbal work or events.
