NiSi Nano Hard IRND GRAD 0.6 is a graduated neutral density filter with a hard-edge transition and horizontal orientation. The dark part reduces light by 2 stops; the H-K9L glass, 4 mm thick, has integrated IR protection and double-sided nano coating.
The sharp transition is designed for straight horizons, such as sea or flat ground, where the sky is much brighter than the foreground. The IR layer prevents a magenta cast in blacks on digital sensors.
